Clean Gently and Regularly
Our NC-coated solid wood and veneers are easy to care for—just wipe with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth to remove dust or daily buildup. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap diluted in water, and always wipe dry immediately to avoid moisture absorption. Skip the harsh cleaners, alcohol-based sprays, and silicone polishes—they can cloud or damage the natural finish.
For natural fiber accents like rattan or banana leaf, gently clean with a brush or wipe with a dry cloth. If needed, spot clean with a damp cloth and let air dry fully.
Protect from Heat, Moisture, and Sun
Even with a protective finish, natural wood is sensitive to its environment. Use coasters and mats to prevent heat rings and water stains. Wipe up spills right away. Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight or next to heat sources, as fading, drying, or warping may occur over time. If you live in a very dry or humid climate, consider using a humidifier or dehumidifier to keep wood stable.
Long Run Upkeep
Our non-toxic NC finish is designed to let the beauty of the wood show through—small marks and wear will naturally develop with use, adding to the character. To maintain the surface, you can occasionally apply a natural wax or polish formulated for NC finishes. If a screw feels loose or a part shifts, a quick retighten keeps your furniture strong for the long haul.
